Abstract

This presents a steady-state load-flow assessment of the 33-kV electrical network represented. in the supplied ETAP single-line diagram. The network contains a 33 kV main bus, three 25-MW generator units of which Generator 2 is shown unavailable, a utility source connected through an 11kV bus, two 60MVA transformers, four lumped loads, and associated feeder/cable sections. The The study uses the values visibly reported on the supplied simulation diagram as the primary data. source. The displayed generator dispatch is 11.8 MW from Generator 1 and 7 MW from Generator 3, while Generator 2 is out of service. The four visible lumped loads total approximately 12.16 MW and 12.81 MVAr, corresponding to an apparent demand of about 17.66 MVA and a composite power factor of approximately 0.688. The displayed bus voltages are approximately 32.32 kV at Bus7, 32.57 kV at Bus6, and 32.43 kV at both Bus8 and Bus9. Relative to a 33kV nominal base, these correspond to approximately 97.94%, 98.70%, 98.27% and 98.27%, respectively. Therefore, the visible load-flow results indicate an acceptable voltage profile for the buses whose voltage values are displayed, with no apparent low-voltage violation under the shown operating condition. The paper further interprets the power-flow arrows, transformer loading. Feeder losses/voltage drops, generator availability and network topology, and proposes operational measures including contingency analysis, reactive-power management, preventive maintenance, and further validation using the native ETAP project file. The analysis is consistent with the role of load-flow studies in determining bus voltages, branch flows, equipment loading and losses in power-system planning and operation.
